69 Day Giving Challenge – Day 1

This was an easy, and somewhat lazy gift.  But I will admit that I felt a ridiculous rush of adrenaline after giving it. My office is like many offices in modern America …you can throw a stone and hit the nearest Starbucks here in White Plains.  Last night, after my workout, I purchased an orange juice, and a $20 gift card. I’m not sure I can spend $20 on each of the 69 gifts, but I felt like $10 would get spent in about 3 seconds.  So I landed on $20. The guy at the register asked me if I wanted an envelope for the gift card, and I said

“nope just use it for everyone behind me.”

I turned around and bolted out the door and didn’t turn around.  I kind of speed walked outside and turned the corner.  So crazy, but I started laughing as I got the doors of my office.  Pure joy.  That was awesome.  Let the giving games begin!
