10 Years Later: Remembering Sean Lugano on September 11th
This time of year, I have an ugly habit to obsessively review video of the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. It’s the same thing every year. I watch the first plane hit, then the second, then I watch the towers collapse. Over and over. I try to find new angles that I may have missed last year. I relive every moment, I usually cry. I pick at the scab, and let it bleed a little each year.

8 percent of Online Americans use Twitter
About 7 days ago Suzanne Choney of Technolog on MSNBC posted some interesting findings regarding American’s use of Twitter. I have a tendency to focus most of my blogging energy these days on Facebook, so after reading Suzanne’s piece I thought I’d throw a little love toward my favorite micro-blogging platform. The reality is that I use Twitter just as much, if not more than I use Facebook. I’m certainly a “power-user” of both technologies, but the stats that Choney posted were fascinating.

Clicker & Facebook: The Future of Television?
Today Clicker, the complete guide to internet television announced that it will integrate with Facebook to further enhance it’s recommendation engine. This is a pivotal announcement for Facebook. Just another step toward the true vision that Mark Zuckerberg has for Facebook. Enhancing your life by knowing what your friends are doing. Zuckerberg feels (and I agree) that the internet can be a lonely experience. Individuals are bouncing from one site to the next on their own. As these sites further integrate Facebook how much more rich and fulfilling will this experience be if you know what your friends are doing there as well. When I logged into Clicker it showed me a list of my friends that like shows I love like 3o Rock – how cool is that?

Fox News, Family, Friends & Facebook Made My Day
esterday was perhaps the best work day I’ve had in my entire career. I started the day at the office with my business partner, and founder of Drive Action Digital, Anthony Zarro. We had just recieved our new laptops in the mail. Like two little kids on Christmas morning, we busily set up our laptops, and started to get our desks in order. After working for a few hours, we headed down to the city together to meet with one of our most exciting clients – Lifesta. I’m going to tell you more about Lifesta soon enough, but you should know this – they are going to be huge. They’re changing the game of online couponing as we know it. Stay tuned for more! Finally, yesterday evening I was lucky enough to appear again on Fox TV. I was asked to come in to chat about Facebook’s new messaging platform. We chatted, and had a great time. It’s funny that I had no idea we were broadcasting live. In hindesight, it’s better that I didn’t know, I think I would have been more nervous!

Last week I added a post that’s received significant traffic via Social Media Today. After the post went live, I received a fantastic comment from Dan Perez. His well thought out response and the banter that ensued resides on Social Media Today, however I think it’s worth re-posting here:
